About the App

Find My Phone: Clap Detector is a utility app designed to help you locate or protect your device using four smart alert features:

  1. Clap Detection Alert – Detects clapping sounds and triggers a loud alarm so you can find your phone easily.

  2. Touch Alert – The phone plays an alarm if someone picks up or moves your device.

  3. Charge / Uncharge Alert – Notifies you when the charging cable is plugged or unplugged unexpectedly.

  4. Full Battery Alert – Alerts you when the battery is fully charged.

All processing happens on your device — the app does not collect audio, personal data, or upload anything to a server.

How to Use the App

🔊 1. Clap Detection Mode

  • Open the app → Enable “Clap Detection”

  • Ensure microphone permission is granted
    Settings → Privacy → Microphone → Allow

Tip: The app must remain in the foreground for reliable clap detection.

📱 2. Touch Alert

  • Activate “Touch Alert”

  • Place your phone on a flat surface

  • If someone moves or lifts the device, an alarm will trigger immediately.

🔌 3. Charging / Uncharging Alert

  • Turn on “Charge Alert” in the app

  • The app will notify you when the cable is connected or disconnected.
    Useful for public places or preventing cable theft.

🔋 4. Full Battery Alert

  • Activate “Full Battery Alert”

  • The app will notify you when your device reaches 100% charge.
